Recently renovated campground in Shannon National Park. Pull up in the Shannon Campground, the old townsite where more than 90 houses once stood. Shannon Campground now has 60 campsites for caravans, RVs and tents. Two huts are also available on a first in first served basis. This campground has BBQs, hot showers and walk trails. Horses are welcome at the campground with a purpose-built camping area to explore the Warren Blackwood Stock Route. The Stock Route is a 320km bridle trail based on the old cattle droving routes of the pioneering families of the south west. National Park entry and camping fees apply, online bookings are necessary.
