Pack your tent, get away from the crowds and back to nature. D’Entrecasteaux National Park is a magnificent park that spreads for 130km along the coastline to the south of Northcliffe. Four wheel drive tracks in the area offer several remote camping opportunities, including Banksia Camp, Fish Creek and Moore’s Hut, Malimup, Lake Jasper and Black Point. Informal campsites can be found along several beaches including Coodamurrup, Warren, Malimup and Yeagarup Beaches.
Please ensure you have a compressor and recovery gear to access these sites on sandy trails. These trails are not suitable for towing vans or trailers. For 2WD access there is camping at Leaning Marri at Lake Yeagarup and at Carey Brook Camping areas including Snottygobble Loop and Grasstree Hollow. These campsites offer basic facilities – designated tent sites, picnic tables, long-drop toilets. No pets allowed. Park entry and camping fees apply.
