Northcliffe and Windy Harbour are perfect destinations for adventure-seeking couples looking to get away from it all.

Windy Harbour is a small settlement surrounded by D’Entrecasteaux NP. Two hundred and nineteen cottages have been built here since the 1900’s for inexpensive camping holidays. Most were built after the Great Depression by local timber workers. Windy Harbour is a popular destination for fishing, birdwatching and wildflowers and the settlement is a base for a small commercial fishing fleet.

Discover the history of Northcliffe from 1924 to the present day.
