What transport services are available?

TransWA coaches provides services from Northcliffe to Perth most days – Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Friday to Sunday at 10.55am. Coaches return to Northcliffe from Perth and then on to Albany every day except Wednesdays. The Visitor Centre can book tickets up to the day prior to travel, or bookings can be made by calling 1300 662 205 or visiting www.transwa.wa.gov.au.
Pemberton Discovery Tours (phone 08 9776 0584) and Pemberton Charters (phone 0413 859 032) provide charter tours, Bibbulmun Track and Munda Biddi transfers and drop-offs. Pemberton Charters offer a taxi service also. Please book ahead for all services.
A limousine charter service is available for special occasions, phone 0455 330 310.

Where can I take my dog?

Northcliffe is surrounded by National Parks which are no-go zones for dogs to protect the special native creatures that live in our forests and along our coastline, including several threatened and priority species. We do have several areas that are dog-friendly where you can spend some quality time with your dog!
The Northcliffe Recreation Ground on the corner of Wheatley Coast Rd and George Gardner Drive is our designated dog exercise area. Dogs are allowed on leash on firebreaks throughout the Northcliffe Forest Park and there is also a series of trails through the bush behind the Catholic Church perfect for a leisurely walk.

Where can I get supplies for the Bibbulmun Track and Munda Biddi Trail?

The Northcliffe Visitor Centre stocks a range of dehydrated meals from Back Country, Feed the Hike and Strive Foods. Gas canisters are available, and the Visitor Centre will also hold resupply parcels for collection (open daily 9am-4pm). The Northcliffe General Store offers a range of fresh, packaged and canned foods and is open daily 7am-7pm. Basic camping items are also available.

Is there mobile phone signal in Northcliffe & Windy Harbour?

Northcliffe & Windy Harbour have signal through the Telstra network only. Surrounding areas have limited signal, often only enough signal for a text message in certain locations. Optus and Vodafone have no signal. Free WiFi is available in the centre of town near the General Store, look for the Shire of Manjimup network. A Telstra phone booth is located on Wheatley Coast Rd outside the Hollow Butt Café, all calls within Australia are free.
